When it comes to making changes, the easiest thing to do is to not make them and stay stagnant. As the summer is ending, a lot of things in my life from the past are also ending. It can be hard to let go of old friends, old memories, old habits that you are used to, but moving on is probably the best thing to do.
I cannot remember any time where I had to let go of something treasured and it was easy. I don’t believe it is supposed to be…but grasping the new is. 🙂 Staying peaceful, joyful, and grateful has allowed me to be easy. So many times we get caught up in the things we “have” or feel entitled to, but in order to get new and experience new you have to disown the old.
Imagine holding 20 sour lemons with your hands, but someone offering a big watermelon, and you not trusting to let go of the little lemons. Why the heck would you not let go of the bitter lemons in exchange for a sweet and refreshing treat? Just let it go. Be easy. The best is ahead!
And seriously, what is life without enjoying it? Always remember to enjoy the process, the changes, the ups and the downs, as hard as it can be. As long as you have a community of people that encourages you to keep going, and that believe in your future, ENJOY IT. You only get to live once in the body you live in. LIVE LIMITLESS.

One of the things we have to do in life is change and be willing to change. This time in New York City, Becca and I wanted to do photo shoots in the middle of random neighborhoods. This shoot took place by NYC FIT’s dorms and outside their museum.
Becca was not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she eventually grasped the feel of it. A lot of times, God allows us to experience new things to push us out of our comfort zone. It is super healthy to try new things because this gives us an open heart to the newness God can bring in different seasons of our life.
Also, when you try new things, do not be afraid. And even if you are scared, face that thing—as simple as that. You have to know that fear is only in the mind. Fear is only a mind state that will keep you from growing. In order to grow, you will have to face challenges with the best foot forward. Continue to push. Do not let your mind keep you from the next.
Trying new things. Today, I challenge you to do something you have NEVER ever done. Whether it is trying a new food, lifting 5 more times the weights you lift at the gym, or even trying to learn how to paint and you aren’t artistic, try it. You never know what boundaries you are pushing just by trying.
I had the amazing privilege and blessed opportunity to travel to my dream home—New York City. My awesome sister-friend Becca, (I call her BEX though; sounds cooler, right?) invited me to join her and I did. It was only for 3 days but so worth the busy street walks, tired-from-carrying-luggage shoulders, and humid weather. We left Friday morning in a first-class flight and let me tell you, I am not trying to return to coach ever. Lol.
I have learned multiple valuable lessons on this trip and one of them has been to H U S T L E for the dreams you have. I have never been in such a fast-paced environment, I prayed to God to shake me and He did. It has always been a choice to continue to push towards the mark BUT sometimes we are in need of inspiration and a push towards it.
I am excited to say this trip was all that and more. Because I have learned so many things about myself, life, work ethic, and the church, I will be blogging more consistently in order to push this information to help even just one of you.
I pray this pushes YOU as it did myself. Much love!

Meanwhile in Tulsa, Oklahoma…
I have been meaning to do a lot more with my time, but sometimes we just need the reboot button. I have been going through a lot in my mind and needless to say, it has caused me to be super unproductive. Yuck, right?
So the coffee boost to my low-energy has finally kicked in.
Time to put in the work! Let’s go!
